I am looking to interview people who spent time in gay bars and clubs in Japan in the 1960s, either as patrons or as workers. The focus of the interviews is to learn more about Japanese gay bar life in the 1960s, and perhaps the influence of America's Stonewall Rebellion on gay life in Japan, if any. The interviews will be completely anonymous, and will be conducted by email. The first exchange will be a standard set of questions, and there may be follow-up questions depending on an individual's answers. While I prefer to conduct the interviews in English, I can also accommodate speakers of Japanese, French, or Spanish. Japanese and non-Japanese are welcome to participate; orientation and gender are irrelevant.

- 英語ができれば有用ですが、日本語もいいです。
- 65歳以上 (60年代にバーに行くのに十分な年齢でした)
